New Balance Hoops Teams Up With Goosebumps On The KAWHI II

New Balance Hoops unveiled Kawhi Leonard‘s second signature sneaker not too long ago in the KAWHI II and the sneaker gets a scary take with an upcoming collab with R.L. Stein’s Goosebumps.

“One of the most exciting things about working with the New Balance design team is that they give me creative freedom,” said Kawhi Leonard. “Goosebumps was one of my favorite books growing up, so to see that on my own shoe is awesome! I can’t wait to see people in this shoe!”

The sneaker features a black, orange, and green upper, taking inspiration from slime. Kawhi’s name is seen on the tongue in green, similar to the Goosebumps title font with a slimy eyelet pattern seen around the ankle collar. On the performance side, the sneaker features a FuelCell midsole with a full-length performance plate for stability while running and jumping in mind. The upper is made from Kinetic Stitch, a data-driven design to provide containment where it’s needed the most.

The Goosebumps x New Balance KAWHI II is set to drop first on Newbalance.com on April 20th with Foot Locker and Champs Sports dropping them a few days later on April 22nd, retailing for $140.
