Ever since its inception in 2012, the Heated Sole Summit in Phoenix, Arizona has evolved from your average buy-sell-trade event to an all encompassing fixture packed with athletes, sneakerheads, hypebeasts, vloggers and many more all under one roof. Not only is Heated Sole an opportune time for sneaker and streetwear enthusiasts to buy new heat, it’s also a timely place to strut that fire fit.
The beauty about events like these is the culmination of identities and backgrounds that are brought together for the culture. Men, women, and children of all ages and backgrounds were in attendance on October 14th, 2017. Taking on Stick Resort Arena, home of the Phoenix Suns and Heated Sole Summit 8, hosted vendors from all over the state of Arizona and the West Coast were in attendance, including a few from New Mexico, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and even Texas.
Banned LAThe event even had a customization competition embedded by having four customizers take on the Air Jordan 13 “History of Flight” that dropped earlier this year. After hours of customizing, CMoore Kicks out of El Paso, Texas came out on top by covering the Air Jordan 13 in an American flag with the logos of several teams peeking through.

Arizona native and rapper Futuristic was in the house along with Phoenix Suns players including T.J. Warren, Tyler Ulis, Eric Bledsoe, Devin Booker and newcomers Mike James and Josh Jackson.
