The beloved New Balance MT580 is turning ten. To celebrate the occasion, mita and HECTIC were given the opportunity to design two sneakers, and the results were solid, to say the least. Both companies have extensive backgrounds with NB shoes, including the 580 they designed together back in late 2009.
These two rely on premium suede make-ups for their uppers, mixing natural tones. Both utilize grey midsoles and liners and tan toe boxes and collars. Forest green and brown are the two partner colors you can choose from, and bits of black appear throughout to help. The best element of these may be the insole, which features the pictures of multiple 580s designed in the last ten years.
