Led by their Social Purpose team, 600 adidas employees went to three underserved areas of Portland on Monday to carry out the brand’s core belief of changing lives through sport. To do this, adidas employees led coaching clinics, donated product and refurbished youth sports spaces.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what adidas accomplished in just one day:
- 100 sport equipment kits, which will impact 30,000 underserved kids, were organized and donated
- 200 employees went through training to become community youth sport coaches
- Westmoreland Park was renovated and 15 spaces were created for sports
