With over 1,000 stores nationwide, the Birmingham-based footwear retailer announces its initiative under the moniker Sole School Program. The 2021 plan aims to assist 86 underserved schools with monetary assistance and mentoring.

Since its initial launch in 2015, the program has been an aid to hundreds of schools in need by supporting education and athletics. Now, Hibbett | City Gear, in partnership with Nike, has collective raised $750,000 for the aforementioned 86 schools across 35 states. One of the biggest contributions arrives in the form of mentoring by local store management. In addition, the Sole School Program opens the door for employment within its stores.

The retail chain has helped hundreds of students throughout the years and will continue to serve back the communities they depend on. For the full list of schools, be sure to check out Hibbet.com.
