You know the story, or maybe you don’t. Back in ’93, a famous basketball player (at that point maybe the best ever) retires at the top of his game to play baseball. His days on the hardwood are considered over and his sneaker line is thus finished. To commemorate his achievements and keep his name in the game, Nike released the Air Jordan 10 in a “City Series” collection during 1995. The colorways coincide with the franchises that host some of Mike’s then-favorite emerging talent.
Now you know the story. Its time you know the sneakers and the players that sported them. Nice Kicks recaps 1995’s famed “City Series” and the unofficial sixth member. Which Is Your Favorite “City Series” Air Jordan 10?
Air Jordan 10 “Chicago”
Colorway: Chicago
Worn By: Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Harold Miner (Miami Heat)
The man, the wingman, and the man-child, all laced up the “Chicago” 10s. Scottie and Mike sported them early on in the return run while PEs were shipped to Harold Miner aka Baby Jordan’s Miami crib.
