Although the Nike Blazer was considered a basketball when it first released in 1972, it became a lifestyle, casual-wear type sneaker to many sneaker enthusiasts (think about it…how many people do you see hooping in the Blazer these days). However, in 2009, Nike incorporated Huarache technology to the Blazer and labeled it the Blazer 2K9. Nike added a EVA midsole and a rubber outsole for extreme durability and traction.
