When the Converse Weapon first released, it was considered one of the better performance-ready sneakers on the market. It contained second-to-none stability and a Y Bar system which extends the exterior of the upper around the ankle locking the heel in place and minimizing slipping on the foot bed. However, Converse released the Weapon EVO and incorporated a new technology dubbed the Converse Ball Technology. This technology utilizes multiple polyurethane balls in the heel that indirectly correlate with the player?s impact. We wonder what Magic Johnson and Larry Bird would have been able to do with these updates!
