Though the city of Houston has thousands of sneakerheads, is the fourth largest city in the United States, and the largest city in the nations second largest state, the sneaker scene in Houston started picking up some serious steam only recently.
Premium Goods was the first sneaker boutique to come down to the big bayou city in 2004 and has become the premier sneaker shop in the Lone Star State. Less than a year ago, SF2 opened in north Houston, bringing major streetwear as well as up and coming sneaker brands to the scene and in the fall of 2006, Kickz opened up in the Galleria becoming the newest sneaker boutique to the city.
