Just last week, Sotheby’s and Stadium Goods teamed up to auction 100 pairs of the rarest kicks the world has ever seen.

Today, 99 of them are gone.

The one pair that still exists for auction, the OG Nike “Moon Shoes” seen above, are expected to go for $160,000.

The other 99 pairs, well they were bought by one man for a hefty sum.

Reported by CNBC, Canadian entrepreneur and investor Miles Nadal bought all the other shoes in the auction for a total of $850,000.

Quantity and quality as expected.

Nike MAG 2011

While 99 pairs in total impress, the pairs are obviously very, very rare.

How rare? Well, we’re talking multiple pairs of Nike MAGs, the unreleased Air Jordan 11 Derek Jeter PE and the Friends & Family purple suede Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4s to name a few.

So, what’s Nadal gonna do with all the shoes? He’s going to put them next to his 142 cars and 40 motorcycles that he displays at his Dare to Dream Automobile Museum in Toronto.

“I have always been an avid enthusiast and appreciator of unique art and collectibles that represent innovative design, exceptional craftsmanship and new and exciting trends in pop culture,” Nadal said.

It appears his museum won’t need a new furnace as there’ll be plenty of heat.
