Since its celebratory debut last July as a distance runner’s dream, Nike’s Zoom VaporFly 4% hasn’t been an easy shoe to secure. In fact, it’s been almost impossible for many. But it seems as though the tide may be turning with the newly released Obsidian colorway.

Produced in large part to help the world’s top distance runners like Shalene Flanagan conquer a marathon in record time, performance resides at the core of the silhouette yet inherently so does style. Thus, even for the average runner or non-runner altogether, the VaporFly 4% is desired all the same.

This morning the shoe is widely available in its Obsidian/Metallic Silver colorway. Releasing in the U.S., China and Japan, peep a retail listing for the Nike Zoom VaporFly 4% “Obsidian” below and expect the shoe in Europe on Nike.com on April 19.

Additionally, check out a new commercial featuring The Chi creator and Master of None co-star Lena Waithe, along the aforementioned Shalene Flanagan, Draymond Green, Sean Wotherspoon, Richard Sherman, Paul Rodriguez and more.
