To pay tribute to DC founder and World Rally Car driver Ken Block, Huck Gee designed a collection for later this year. Drawing inspiration from Block’s affinity for racing and vehicles, the pack is slated to include 4 total shoes, a shirt and a hat. Here we see a sneaker peek of two of the shoes and the New Era. Huck Gee designed a “block” logo featuring Ken’s number 43. Of the two shoes, one is all black, or “murdered out,” and features a repeat print throughout. Block is notable for owning a flat black Mercedes and being on the forefront of the auto trend years ago. The other shoe uses a black, white and lime colorway, drawing inspiration from Block’s Ford Festiva race car. |
