An ever-present figure in fashion, music and global culture, Pharrell Williams is nothing if not always thoughtful and wholly impressive.

In a recent interview for GQ France, where he lightly dished on his upcoming Chanel partnership, on on-going collaboration linked to his friendship with the recently deceased Karl Lagerfield, Williams very strategically offered a first look at his upcoming HUMAN MADE x adidas Solar Glide HU.

Bursting with sentiment through a heart-shaped toe graphic, the otherwise all-white Primeknit pair evokes a simplistic theme that largely speaks to a vision of unity, one Williams lives and promotes through his many artistic works. A second pair, seen on Williams in a shared image with Takashi Murakami, features an equally adoring blue heart.

Release details on both pairs are currently unknown. Stay tuned for additional details.

Update 4/2: After a preview in GQ France last month, new reports indicate that Pharrell Williams’ Chanel collection will release its first installment on April 4. It’s unclear if the reported launch this week will feature his adidas Solar Glide Hu and the below referenced white canvas sneaker colored with unique scribes and graphics. Williams is also releasing a pair of black loafers. Stay tuned for more details.

Update 4/22: First previewed alongside his Chanel collaboration in GQ France this past February, the Human Made x adidas Solar Hu Glide in white/blue has been vindicated with a May 3rd release date. The shoe will release exclusively overseas at the very-first Human Made brick and mortar in Kyoto, Japan, for $180 USD.
