As if resale prices weren’t enough,?Illinois State Representative Will Davis is proposing a special tax on sneakers. The tax, set at $0.25 cents per pair of athletic shoes, would be used to fund the state’s??Youth Build Support Fund? which is administered by the?Illinois Department of Human Services. Officially titled?House Bill 978, the bill should be addressed in the coming days in the Illinois legislature.
