Next month, Adidas will conclude the Craftsmanship Sneaker Pack series next month with the release of the Adidas Forum in the same old vs. new fashion as with others. The Forum was introduced in 1983 as the most technological basketball shoe of its time. It was also the first basketball shoe to break the bank at the $100 mark ($220 in 2008 dollars). Off the court the Adidas Forum made equally as large of an impression with the hip hop community thanks in large part to is sleek style and array of colors.

To honor the legacy of the Forum, Adidas will bring the sneaker in an original colorway with rich Italian leather upper with reptile-style embossed leather. The shoe boasts a leather lining and comfort like few shoes from its era and a $140 sticker price. The contemporary version of the Forum silhouette features luxurious materials, no stripes and a new snap closure system. Inspired by traditional down jackets, this forum is made with a heavy, rich and robust aniline leather combined with smooth suede details, creating the ideal sneaker for winter for $200.

Look for the Adidas Forum to end its 25th Anniversary in a big way next month at select retailers.
