Shoe Size

Significance: Chris Paul and Tom Luedecke came up with the idea to have the shoe size visible to the eye much like the heel detail on a bowling shoe. The Jordan CP3.V’s shoe size is placed on the outsole of the sneaker in representation of Chris Paul’s love for bowling. This is one of two details symbolizing Paul’s infatuation with bowling.

Chris Paul: “Everybody knows that I love to bowl. When you go to the bowling alley and get your shoes, one of the first things you see is the size of them on the back. So, on the bottom of every shoe (CP3.V) is the shoe size. We didn’t do it just because we think people are dumb, it’s just a testament to how much I love to bowl.”
