Nike and Kobe Bryant officially the unveiled the highly-anticipated Nike Zoom Kobe V earlier this week to many people’s excitement (see additional photos and information here). Weighing in at 10.6 ounces, the Nike Zoom Kobe V instantly became the lightest Nike basketball shoe ever created. With that said, Nike Creative Director Eric Avar and Kobe Bryant had their hands full when it came to designing a lightweight basketball shoe that is extremely performance-ready and can withstand a 82-game season and beyond.
