How do sneakers and AIDS awareness exist you ask? In 2006, Nike, Converse and a number of other brands joined forces with (Product) Red in attempt to raise awareness and funds to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. The aforementioned Converse brand has released a number of (Product) Red themed sneakers since the campaign’s existence. Last year on December 1, our Nice Kicks staff compiled a list of some of the (Product) Red kicks from Converse (The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is the recipient of the revenue). We have made this feature our latest installment of “Into the Archives” seeing that today is World AIDS Day. Check out the extremely creative designs Converse has manufactured for (Product Red) in our AIDS Awareness: The 20 Best Converse (Product) RED Kicks feature.

The ongoing Converse (Product) RED campaign produces some of the most highly detailed, stylish designs we have seen from the 102-year-old brand. The premium grey nubuck texture is a nice, subtle look, and red eyelets/camouflage inner lining provides eye-catching complimentary attributes.
