Some of the greatest of all time suited up in the navy pinstripes, but no one, until Derek Jeter, was named the MVP of the mid-season classic. A top-of-the-ninth 3 run rally by the American League gave the AL the edge and Jeter’s performance going 3-3 driving in 2 runs and scoring one himself helped earn him All Star MVP honors. For this special event, Jordan Brand had a special edition cleated version of the Air Jordan VI made for Derek which is represented on the Jordan Jeter Throwback by the molded ankle.
