Known as one of the best custom sneaker designers and a foundational figure in the movement, Jake Ferrato, better known as JBF Customs, is now trying his hand at original sneaker design. Today he unveils his first ever footwear creation from scratch, and it’s clear that the talent he possess for customs translates well to his first sneaker, the Primo.
Completely designed and handmade by Ferrato himself, the Primo is a sophisticated statement constructed in Vegetable Tanned leather for a clean and refined finish. Lined in a dove covered suede, the leather will darken and patina over time creating a completely foundational aesthetic to each individual shoe. The shoes will be available for purchase tomorrow, June 4, at 1pm EST at JBF Customs.
