Almost undoubtedly the top two quarterbacks off the board in the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft, both Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota have signed endorsement deals with Nike. Winston, winning the Heisman Trophy as a freshman in 2013, and Mariota doing so as a junior in 2014, are arguably the highest profile players to enter this year’s draft and have already inked deals with the Swoosh. Terms of their contracts are yet to be disclosed, but it will be interesting to see how Nike utilizes these star collegiate QBs that collectively (and individually) have incredible marketing value.
