James Harden and adidas Basketball continue to their storytelling as The Beard and the Three Stripes launched the UNO film, deriving from James’ “Under No One” mentality.
Ahead of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, the film captures an up-close and personal look at the Los Angeles Clippers guard playing in his latest signature shoe, the adidas Harden Vol 8.
UNO means number 1, but also means ‘Under No One.’ We feel like we are the biggest, we don’t put ourselves under anyone.
We are very respectful, but we carry ourselves with a different swagger and confidence than a lot of people.

The film was shot in James’s former high school, Artesia High School in Lakewood, California and gives a glimpse into James’ personal narrative and perspective on his life and career. Additionally, James collaborated with producer and scriptwriter Kenneth Wynn and Louisville-based rapper EST Gee, who provided the voiceover for the film.
