A designer and a dad, Jason Mayden of Nike and Jordan Brand fame has combined both his occupations and experience for the launch of his new brand, Super Heroic. Having served as a lead designer at both Nike and JB while helping launch Nike+ and digital sport, the decorated creator has shifted his focus from athletes like Michael Jordan and LeBron James to that of the ever-important everyday child.
Talking with NPR’s All Things Considered, Jason speaks on the brand’s ethos of ‘playing with a purpose’ and how his expertise in footwear and apparel design coupled with his tech background is empowering the youth in fun and fit fashion.
