Jordan Brand is bringing back the Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low later this year and Jordan Brand athlete and All-Star Jayson Tatum is getting his own version of the sneaker which commemorates his hometown of University City right outside of St. Louis.

The sneaker takes elements from the Air Jordan 1, such as the toebox and outsole but puts a twist on the model. Red leather is seen on the toebox and tongue with Sail leather making up the rest of the base of the sneaker. Pale Ivory is seen on the overlays with Wings logo debossed on the lateral side with U.City stitched on the lateral side of the toebox. 98 with a star is printed on the heel of the sneaker, the year Tatum was born and his JT logo is featured on the tongue with a Sail rubber midsole featuring the Jumpman. Lastly, Pale Ivory and a translucent red outsole finishes off the sneaker.

The Jayson Tatum x Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low “U City” is scheduled to release later this year via Nike.com and at select retailers. Check out the photos below and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
