Over time, Instagram has proven to not only be a platform where photographers can showcase their work to a widespread global audience, but it’s also become a growing home for artists and designers to highlight their latest concepts and ideas.

After suffering an unfortunate Achilles tear, footwear designer Jeremy Sallee has been posted up and posting a spree of sketches on his page, narrowing in primarily on new concepts for Puma Hoops and Adidas Basketball. With Puma’s grand return to the NBA and basketball space for the first time in two decades, his designs explore potential twists on bridging the brand’s past through a modernized lens.

The Adidas concepts are simply awesome, delving into some new branding options for The Three Stripes. Sallee formerly worked at Reebok, where he cooked up the recent Fusion DMX and Alpha standout models during his tenure with the vector. He’s currently the Design Director for Ralph Lauren footwear, with projects soon on the horizon.

You can keep up with Jeremy’s work and his playfully dubbed #AchillesSeries on his @jermsal10 Instagram account — best of luck with the rehab and recovery!
