Both of adidas’ best worlds clash on the newest creation to come out of the Three Stripes camp.
Today, adidas unveiled a new colorway of the adidas D Rose 3.5 designed for Derrick Rose by one of the most well-known fashion designers in the world, Jeremy Scott.
The designer genuinely wanted to unify his and Derrick’s world on this one-of-a-kind creation.
“I really wanted to meld my world and Derrick’s world,” said Jeremy Scott. “I used his shoes as a canvas and created the coolest cherubs in the world for this shoe.”
White, synthetic patent leather upper graces the majority of the base with an all-over, print design of detailed cherubs in various poses and positions with different accessories. Derrick Rose’s logo and Jeremy Scott’s logo appear in black on the outer section of the tongue and back of the tongue and sockliner, respectively.
“I can’t thank Jeremy enough for creating this shoe,” said Rose. “I love sneakers and to have Jeremy take his time to create a shoe for me is crazy. This shoe is so cool, and having a chance to meet with Jeremy and talk about how he comes up with some of his designs was really fun.”
The Jeremy Scott x adidas D Rose 3.5 will be available for $225 at select retailers, including Bait, Kith, Leaders 1354, Millennium Shoes, Oneness Boutique and Packer Shoes. In regards to dates, the launch of this shoe will coincide with the D Rose Tour (July 4-16) where Rose will visit the adidas World Headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany and continue with visits to Milan, Italy; Belgrade, Serbia; Zagreb, Croatia; London, England; Paris, France and Madrid, Spain.
