Although sidelined with an injury that will keep him from his playing role in this weekend’s NBA All-Star festivities in Toronto, Jimmy Butler is still very much a star in the league and with his footwear and apparel endorser, Jordan Brand.
So much in fact, Butler is getting his own apparel collection with the brand. Vindicated via his Instagram, the offering centers around his initials that he shares with the brand, JB. The logo is uniquely his, and finds placement over a range of tees and hats along with “Buckets.”
No mention is made of an exclusive Air Jordan PE for Butler, but this alone says a great deal about Jordan Brand’s value of the Bulls swingman. And to think, it was just a short time ago he was ridiculed for turning down a large sum from adidas Basketball to take a lesser contract with Jordan Brand. That may be the last time the masses question Butler’s decision making.
