Just as “Gamma Blue” was the Jordan Brand hue to close 2013, “Powder Blue” is the move to start the new year. Next in the line of releases that are painted with dark powder blue is the Jordan 6 Rings. Unlike the Air Jordan 3 “Powder Blue” that was soaked in the color, this hybrid silhouette is set mostly in two tones of grey, using its nickname’s tone for detailing. Wolf grey and cool grey combine to compose the upper, which features a mudguard lasered with elephant print, rather than the traditional patent leather. Dark powder blue adds the flare on the carpeted tongues, lace locks, heel tabs, and most prevalently on the midsole. Hints of black and white contribute even more contrast to these 6 Rings, which will be available February 8th for $160 at select JB carriers.
