In honor of Derek Jeter‘s jersey retirement yesterday at Yankee Stadium, Jordan Brand celebrated “The Captain” with a pop-up shop and a special edition Air Jordan 11.
During what Jordan Brand dubbed “RE2PECT Day,” they took over a Bodega across the street from the stadium and filled it with Jeter apparel and memorabilia. Additionally, an Air Jordan 11 Suede “Jeter” PE was also on display, decked out in navy suede as an ode to Jeter’s Hall of Fame tenure with the Yankees. A hand written note from Michael Jordan congratulating Jeter on his jersey retirement is also on display at the pop-up.
