Last night Russell Westbrook etched his name in the history books tying a bow on one of the greatest seasons in NBA history. Recording his 42nd triple double in record-setting fashion with a game-winning 50 point performance, Westbrook now stands alone as the only NBA player to record 42 triple doubles in a single season and average a triple double for the duration of the 82 game campaign.

To honor this monumental accomplishment, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan XXX1 “Why Not” PE — a model inspired by Russ’ Air Jordan 3 PE first seen back in 2013. Drenched in OKC shades with elephant print and enlarged Jumpman branding, this special edition Air Jordan XXX1 will release on April 29 at Jordan.com. Hopefully soon after, Jordan Brand will see fit to actually release the aforementioned Air Jordan 3 PE.
