As the NBA playoff push continues to take shape, Jordan Brand releases a striking new silhouette crafted for many of its endorsing athletes. The new silhouette, titled the Jordan Ultra Fly, draws inspiration from its namesake figure and “his ability to strike with purpose” like a black cat.
A nickname Jordan earned later in his playing days, when his wide-ranging skill set moved towards turnarounds and fade aways, sets the tone for this new model seen here with the help of another Chicago Bulls star, Jimmy Butler.
Boasting a bold Kurim overlay that formulates a cage-like upper, the sleek look draws inspiration from another cat that strikes at a moments notice, the leopard. Jimmy Butler will don the new silo on-court in the weeks to come as the Bulls continue to jock for postseason positioning.
Expect the Jordan Ultra Fly in stores on April 2 with a retail price of $125.
