At the end of last year, Jordan Brand unleashed a new silhouette dubbed the Jordan Classic ’91 to select retailers overseas. This particular sneaker, which pays homage to Jordan?s first NBA championship in 1991 against the Los Angeles Lakers, debuted in a varsity red/black in December of 2009; we have now found a second Jordan Classic ’91 colorway at Mita.
Besides the simple white and black color scheme, this shoe features the timeless Air Jordan Wings among other attributes that are seen on sneakers within the Air Jordan series. Specifically,? the tongue is reminiscent of the one seen on Air Jordan III (tongue) and the heel stitching may remind some of the Air Jordan XII (heel stitching). Other features include heavy perforations on the side panel, white contrast stitching on the toe/heel and black shoelaces. View detailed photos below.
