A couple of weeks ago, we spotted New Orleans point guard Chris Paul debuting the Jordan CP3.III in our Kicks On Court. We now have official information on Chris Paul’s third signature sneaker.

The Jordan CP3.III owns ground-breaking attributes to say the least. Jordan Brand incorporated an innovative technology called Podulon which has never been used in a performance basketball shoe.

?We?re constantly working to develop new technologies that complement Chris?s advancement in the game of basketball,? said Jason Mayden, Jordan Brand Senior Footwear Designer. ?The performance elements incorporated in the JORDAN CP3.III will only enhance his explosive, agile and fast style of play.?

As for style elements, this shoe features a lot of details that are personal to Paul, his team and his family. For example, the overall design draws inspiration from a hornet because it’s New Orleans mascot and for its maneuverability in nature. In addition, this shoe includes a ?Family Crest? graphic with details representing his mother, father, brother and late grandfather.

?The Jordan CP3.III is my most comfortable basketball shoe yet. Not only does this shoe have incredible performance benefits, but I also love the way its design represents me and the people most important in my life,? said Paul.

The Jordan CP3.III will officially release January 2nd, 2009 for $118; however, a special edition Jordan CP3.III will release on December 26th, 2009 at select retailers for $118 also. Click here to view additional photos.
