Chris Paul’s fifth signature silhouette, the Jordan CP3.V, is scheduled to officially hit retailers on January 11th for $120. In preparation of this release, Jordan Brand held an exclusive event for the unveiling of the Jordan CP3.V, a shoe Chris Paul feels is his best creation to date. At Los Angeles’ Cooper Building, Jordan Brand assembled a number of Chris Paul-themed displays, which featured special photos, articles and basketball memorabilia from his childhood, high school and college days. In addition to the Jordan CP3.V Black/White-Stealth that releases on the aforementioned date, Jordan Brand unveiled new, never-before-seen CP3.V colorways through creative displays. Sneakers such as the “All-Star” CP3.V, the “Dr. Jekyll” & “Mr. Hyde” colorways, the “West Forsyth” pair (Paul’s high school colors) and the upcoming “Coaches vs. Cancer” colorway were all revealed. Minutes after, Chris Paul himself arrived at the event along with Jordan Brand designer Tom Luedecke. Both shared many interesting details about the CP3.V’s aesthetics and performance capabilities before participating in a Q&A with the audience. View our Jordan CP3.V launch event recap in its entirety below. Also, stay tuned for an aesthetics feature on the Jordan CP3.V and a ?My 5? with Chris Paul coming soon.
