Wanting to make a statement on the court, newly signed New Orleans Pelicans guard Jordan Crawford made NBA sneaker history by becoming the first player other than Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball to play in the Big Baller Brand Z02 Prime Remix. For Crawford, the decision to play in the BBB Z02 Prime Remix was an easy one to make because well, he’s a big baller.

“I look at myself as a Big Baller,” Crawford told ESPN’s Jovan Buha.

Besides for the fact that he’s a Big Baller, Crawford also said he plans to keep wearing Ball’s signature sneaker because they are comfortable and aren’t like the typical Nike and adidas kicks players normally wear on the court.

“I’ma for sure wear them [going forward],” Crawford said. “They’re comfortable shoes. I like the fact that it’s a new brand. It ain’t Nike or Adidas, so that make it dope.”
