The Jordan Eclipse continues to borrow from brand heritage for many of its new colorways. Trailing the “Hare” and “Elephant Print” iterations, today offers up yet another with ties to MJ and his historic career, the Jordan Eclipse “Defining Moments” edition.
Dressed in a very familiar black and metallic gold scheme, the minimal silhouette incorporates a black base, white midsole and gold branding at the tongue tag and heel. Sure, this iteration certainly isn’t as flashy as say, the Defining Moments Pack in 2006, but it does allow Jordan Brand to explore past themes on growing hybrid silhouettes – something they’ve done exceptionally well year in and year out.
