![]() Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony has been wearing various colorways of his sixth signature sneaker, the Jordan Melo M6, throughout the 2009-2010 NBA season. However, Carmelo stated (via Twitter) that he will lace up a different version of the Jordan Melo M6 against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight in honor of a former Future Sole participant named Austin Jermacans. If you recall, Future Sole winner Austin Jermacans designed this winning design in the fall of 2009. Obviously, this shoe features the black/university blue-gold Denver Nuggets color scheme; however, its texture makeup and inspirations give this shoe a distinctive, one-of-a-kind look. It seems to possess a mesh, net-like area on the side panels and a quilted pattern along the collar area. Other features include a primarily black suede toe/midfoot area, gold laceholders, a stitched midsole and a university blue covering over the midfoot. Who else is applauding Mr. Jermacans for this fresh design? |
