Carmelo Anthony was heavily involved in this year’s Future Sole Competition; he specifically chose the winning design, a version of the Jordan Melo M8 designed by Nick Daiber of Highland, IL. While we await detailed photos of the winning creation, a shot of the Jordan Melo M8 “Blackout” has surfaced on the web. It features a healthy dosage of patent leather and Flywire on the upper, with the latter technology smothering the entire side panel. Jordan Brand also incorporated visible Zoom Air in the forefoot.
