With back-to-school season in full force, it’s the perfect time to upgrade the little one’s sneaker rotation. To make sure they are walking the hallways and running around the playground in style, Jordan Brand is readying a Jordan Spizike Low GS dipped in a classic “Bordeaux” color scheme.

Born from the creative partnership between Michael Jordan and Spike Lee, the Jordan Spizike is injected with iconic design cues from a myriad of Jordan Brand silhouettes, including the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5, and 6.

For this iteration, the pair’s “Bordeaux” outfit is an homage to Jordan Brand’s deep history, seeing as the shade was first introduced back in 1992 on the Air Jordan 7. However, most notably seen on the Air Jordan 7, which was worn by MJ himself during the 1992 NBA All-Star Game. The deep red hue is featured predominantly throughout the pair’s suede, leather and mesh construction, which is then further elevated with contrasting hits of hyper royal on the lace toggle and eyelets. Lastly, the titular hue makes its way onto the signature elephant print overlays on the toe box and heel, as well as the rubber outsole.

Look for the Jordan Spizike Low GS “Bordeaux” to be released in 2024 for $125 via Nike.com and select retailers.
