First released in 2006, the Jordan Spizike returned in its OG White/Green-Red colorway for the first time five years ago today.

Polarizing as could be upon initial unveiling, the Spike Lee homage drew from the kicks closest tied to his Mars Blackmon persona and on screen endorsement.

Just how?

The Spizike features an Air Jordan 3 sole and midsole, Wings from the Air Jordan 4, Air Jordan 5 netting, an Air Jordan 6 tongue and the Air Jordan 20 lasered graphics on the sockliner.

As said, the shoe was incredibly divisive among fans in 2006. When returned in 2014, the shoe was rather welcomed in OG form after numerous new colorways, Kanye West wear and even NIKEiD options.
