What if some of the greatest shoes, worn by the greatest player, accomplishing the greatest accomplishments imaginable weren’t all that great today? The Air Jordan 7, worn by MJ when he took home his second ring and second Olympic Gold medal, by all measures were great shoes, but today’s performance standards and technologies have made this shoe nearly obsolete from a playing perspective.
Jordan Brand gave a shoe with so much history a much needed performance makeover. Herring bone traction, a flatter sole, and Zoom Air are just a few of the many minor tweaks that were made to the Jordan 7 to give us the Jordan True Flight.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the True Flight as well as check out all the colors after the jump. The Jordan True Flight takes off January 17, 2009 for $140. |
