LeBron James is not the only player bringing a new pair of kicks to the court every single playoff game. In the Knicks’ five playoff games this postseason, JR Smith has laced up four different pair of kicks (he was suspended for Game 4). Game 1 saw him debut the “Superhero” LeBron X Elite, while his sneaker choice for Game 2 came in the form of the Nike KD V Elite “EYBL.” He also laced up an all-orange Hyperdunk 2012 Low in Game 3.
In last night’s Game 5, Smith served up an element of surprise by rocking Bo Jackson’s Nike Air Trainer SC on court. Color-wise, the Auburn-esque Trainer SC was a perfect match for New York’s uniforms, and this wear gives Mr. Smith a great amount of points in the ‘Element of Surprise’ category for our Kicks On Court Champion race.
View these kicks plus more, worn by Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, James Harden and others, below.
