The K-Swiss Classic hails from 1966, serving as one of the definitive tennis shoes of its era and a timeless classic, as its name implies. This August, the legendary model celebrates a legend of its game, fifteen-time Pro Slam title winner Pancho Gonzales.
Pancho Gonzales is a true great. Regarded by many as the best male to play the game, Pancho was ranked #1 in the world for an unequaled eight years during the 1950s and 60s. His largely self taught game made him unique, with the winning resume to back his play. Pancho’s legacy and Mexican-American heritage are celebrated on a signature range of the K-Swiss Classic. White, black, and grey colorways sport Mexican and American flag colors, assisted by Pancho tagging on the heel and tongue. Check out detailed shots of the black pair below and look for the K-Swiss Classic “Pancho Gonzales” series to release this August at K-Swiss.
