For its latest offering, Finnish lifestyle and sneaker brand Karhu is paying homage to European Champion Franco Arese with a special edition Trampas.

This Karhu Trampas “Franco Arese” celebrates Arese’s 1500m victory at the 1971 European Championships in Helsinki and additionally marks the 50^th anniversary of his win. The silhouette is made in Italy and features the Karhu Chairman’s name emblazoned on the lateral sides. In terms of colorway, “Trampas Blue” is used to honor the Italian National Team, while red “M” logos are a nod to the runner’s lucky shorts. Lastly, gold detailing signifies Arese’s gold medal.
