Who We Predict Will Debut These Nike KD7s
Boston Celtics Guard Phil Pressey – Nike KD7 “Uprising”
Sure, the “Uprising” KD7’s Hyper Jade color scheme is far from a match for the classic Clover Green that the Boston Celtics don on a nightly basis, but Pressey has consistently worn some of Nike Basketball’s latest product whether it be retros or signature shoes from the game’s greatest players. The “Incredible Hulk” Nike KD7, the “Dunkman” LeBron 11 Low and the “Mint” Nike LeBron X EXT are just a few of the green-accented kicks that he has worn in the past, so the “Uprising” KD is not a stretch.
Memphis Grizzlies Guard Courtney Lee – Nike KD7 “Gold Medal”
In a perfect world, All-Star and Pelicans star Anthony Davis would break these out with New Orleans’ navy uniforms. But the former Kentucky Wildcat’s feet seem to be locked in the Nike Hyperposite series. That leaves us with Grizzlies guard Courtney Lee, who is another big fan of Nike’s latest signature offerings and could pull this off with Memphis’ navy-colored road uniforms.
Toronto Raptors Guards Louis Williams and Terrence Ross – Nike KD7 “Lightning 534”
As seen earlier, Louis Williams has a short history of pulling out KD7s with the Raptors throwback uniforms. Isn’t this a perfect match? We expect him or teammate Terrence Ross, who sports KDs on occasion, to debut the “Lightning 534” KD7 on court at some point this season.
Phoenix Suns Forward P.J. Tucker – Nike KD7 “Texas” PE
These two colorways are exclusive to current University of Texas basketball players, but we wouldn’t be surprised if former Longhorn P.J. Tucker came across a pair before the year ends. With the way he has been dominating our Kicks On Court headlines as of late, a wear of either one of these would boost his Kicks On Court Champion campaign tremendously.
