The “All-Star” Crazy 8 retro. I distinctly remember watching the ‘98 ASG at a party in my friend Steve’s basement. Kobe was my favorite player at the time, though I wore an Iverson jersey to the festivities, and his first start/appearance in the All-Star Game was a huge deal. The matchup against MJ was a big story and the Lake Show, having four players in the game (Shaq, KB8, EJ and Van Exel), was wild. I’m pretty sure this colorway never released in OG fashion, so the fact that adidas brought it back years later was awesome. Should’ve copped.
