Our Editor-In-Chief George Kiel and his Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation continue to make their way through Texas’ major cities with their sneaker-themed, charity-driven Kick & Roll Open Gym sessions. After hosting three sessions Austin, three more in Houston and the anticipated second annual Kick & Roll Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Event, Open Gym resumes – this time in Dallas, Texas at NBA player Mo Williams’ private gym called the Mo Williams Academy. There will be two sessions in Dallas: this Saturday, September 19 and October 17.
The Kiel Colon Cancer’s sneaker-themed Open Gym sessions are free to the public and to their participants, but only the first 40 people to register on their site are allowed to actually play in the three-hour sessions (October 1 marks the registration date for the October 17th event). If you’re in the Dallas area, head on out, bring your best kicks and hoop for a cause!
