Kevin Durant and OKC Debut “Creamsicle” Nike KD II
When Kevin Durant and the majority of his teammates debuted the “Creamsicle” KD IIs on court, it was like the unofficial coming-out party for KD’s signature line, in my opinion. Most people paid little-to-no attention to Durant’s line until OKC brought the Creamsicles out in that nationally televised game against Dallas. This was at a time when Nike didn’t really announce a shoe being worn on court prior to the game; it was a welcomed surprise. I remember flipping the channel to the game after it started only to notice the entire team – bench included – in super bright orange sneakers.
