Nike KD V “Energy”
Since my fellow UT alum Peter Sim snuck me for my favorite KD, I’ll have to settle for a close second. Although this one isn’t draped in burnt orange it is still one of my favorite KD-branded sneakers. The KD V “Energy” was the first basketball shoe I pick up after coming off a torn achilles injury; I wanted something high cut for obvious reasons. I rocked these KD Vs en route to a 5-1 intramural record, losing in the playoffs on a last-second half-court shot. The intramural team was comprised of my frat brothers, so of course I have countless memories while rocking the KD Vs.
