LA Gear Lights
I remember getting these when I was in 4th grade. It wasn’t so much about wanting to be cool, but I just had a fascination with electricity and light. I remember I would find all the flashlights we had in the house and disassemble them to see how they work. My parents would get upset since I broke all of them (I didn’t know how to put them back together), so they started hiding them from me. Eventually, I started making my own flashlights with AA batteries, paperclips, a lightbulb, and a Pringles™ tube for the housing. After a while, they let me play with the flashlights again since I was taking all the lightbulbs around the house.
